File_Error juxtaposes, transcends, transforms and illuminates the absurd and the everyday through sound and media.
Working across the fields of sound art and digital screen/media, File_Error draws from a wide range or source material and influences from field and urban recordings, found sound and vision to samples and electronics.
Currently developing the new body of work “Deep North”: an exploration and audio/screen meditation on the landscape of Far North Queensland, Western Queensland and Central Australia.
The work will both examine the ecological environment, through a visual and aural design framework, and specific intersections of human activity and legacy.
File_Error has most recently performed as part of Liquid Architecture 9 in Cairns and has an ongoing collaboration with indigenous artist Zane Saunders (www.zanesaunders.com). He has collaborated with hybrid inter-media collective Bonemap (www.bonemap.com) on various projects and produced sound design for professional theatre company JUTE (www.jute.com.au).
